I wish I knew earlier about your basket fever. My mother taught basketry at her studio in Newell, NC. I taught it once or twice at Central Piedmont Community College. All her books have been passed along now. I still have a huge egg basket with an oak handle that is unfinished. I will never finish and hoped to find someone who could weave the last of it. We had black walnut hulls for dye as well as other vegetable dyes. Your basket is divine!
